St Helier Satues

A trip to St Helier on the bus today and walk around the stores and market before visiting the Maritime Museum which was worth while.
The top picture on the collage is celebrating Liberation Day the 9th May 1945 when the Royal Navy and a contingent of the British Army liberated the islanders from five years of occupation.
The two lower Blips are a fountain in the market which looked freshly restored and the dolphins and divers in an area of dancing fountain jets.

After returning to the hotel we played frizby on the beach with the Grandchildren.

Today the sun shone not for as long as I would have liked but it shone, this evening there's rain in the air and hopefully it'll be just an overnight shower.
