a lifetime burning

Woodland Break

I decided to go for a walk along the top of the Mendips this afternoon, in the hope of some landscape photography  opportunities, for a bit of a change.  In the event, the weather never really cleared up, despite what my various weather forecasting apps had suggested was going to happen, and I spent most of the time in a gentle drizzle, with only the occasional bit of light coming through the clouds.

But even though I needed my waterproofs, and despite the dull light, it was very peaceful, very few other people were around, and I discovered a few more nooks and crannies of the Mendips that I'd not explored before.
