Trolligsten

Day 12
We very quickly got the tent packed up, relatively dry before the rain started! Then got drove to the Eidsdal ferry. It was quite early so we were hoping for a cafe for breakfast that would open by 10, then we found the perfect place, in Valsdalen, overlooking waterfalls. Good coffee and fresh cinnamon buns. We carried on through amazing scenery and down the Trolligsten. The best weather was better east, so we left Andalsnes behind, and headed along the Rauma toward Dombas. We found a great walk through a historic old settlement, next to the river and the woods. It was a 5km marked trail past restored old saw mill, flour mill etc. interesting and informative and didn’t see anyone else! We looked for a campsite and ended up at the tourist centre just south of Dombas, looked v busy, but had a lovely pitch by the river, and the facilities were great.
