a flower

nestled in and gathering - pollen, this was one - of only a handful - of bees flitting around - the community garden which - surprised me because - typically flowers bring - forth a multitude of bees - but for some reason - this season is lacking - in both bees and butterflies - it has given me pause - did i miss the memo - is there a shortage - this year with - both and i’m just behind - on hearing the news

otherwise it’s simply - distressing to see this - lack in the garden - when it should be - buzzing and flourishing - and we should be having…
