For Mono Monday.
Not "cold" but just refreshing with a slight breeze after 6 pm. Tomorrow and the days to come it will be very hot, but nothing compared to what they are experiencing in towns like Blythe, CA, located on the border between California and Arizona, where there are encampments of homeless people living outdoors in temperatures of 118 degrees. A young pastor is trying to help them with the few resources he has by providing two days of air conditioning inside a church and facilitating a shower. I read the article in the LA Times, and feel I don't have a right to complain about anything. It's been on my mind all day.
