Sunset at Engelsmanplaat

Together with Ton and Herman, I went on a trip to Engelsmanplaat, a sand bank in the Wadden Sea. The "Gebroeders Luden", a former lifeboat, brought us there (see the extra shot). We first drove to Lauwersoog and on the way there we had rain and clouds, but once we were on the ship we could see the sun breaking through the clouds. When we arrived, we had to wade through the water to get to the sand bank and then a frantic 30 minutes or so to capture the most beautiful light I have seen in quite a long time. After that, it was still quite good but the best of the light had gone. After an hour or so, we went back to the ship and back to Lauwersoog.

Ton and Herman: thank you once again for a great trip!
