Colourful wings

I was actually taking a photo of the bee next to it; didn't even see the hover fly before I looked at the photo. The hoverfly was sharper and more colourful, so the bee got cropped out.

That's life. Sometimes you're just not bright and visible enough for purpose. Sometimes dull and monochrome is what is required.
