Look Ladies, it's Me!

The time is now 11.40pm and we have been out all day, leaving me with just enough time to quickly sort through today's photos in order to find one for you and to weed out the ones I don't wish to keep for one reason or another. That leaves me with about 350 possible "keepers" from a wonderful holiday weekend of sunshine and warmth. Round 2 of the selection process starts tomorrow, followed by editing before archiving.
Today we visited Johnstown Castle in South County Wexford, a place of great beauty, fine landscapes and magnificent ancient trees. Star of the show today though was this peacock who having a harem of 6 or 7 peahens decided it was time to display his fine tail feathers and show them all just who was the most beautiful bird in the castle courtyard.
