Sgwarnog: In the Field

Marauding

Ragwort is popular in the insect world, so it’s always worth checking to see what’s visiting. Gatekeeper butterflies have been the most numerous on my patch for a few weeks now.

I had to apologise to a Roe Deer who thought they’d found a nice secluded spot to rest up during the day. The butterbur patch provides good cover, but not from marauding lepidopterists.

Nice to have a bit of sunshine after the weekend deluge.
