Sea Trout

Not a great photo as I was needed to help rather than spectate!

It was showery again today.

We took a morning walk up the hills beside the little lochan, and go high enough to get signal to send a video message to MrsCyclops.

We played Scrabble before lunch, which CyclopsJnr loved.  He was old enough to get into it this year.  He got a very creditable 231 points (with just a little help) and I got 328.  I reckon if I played with 6 tiles instead of 7, and maybe allowed him 8, we'd have a fairly competitive game.

We played some Uno and IQ after lunch, then headed to the car and drove to the pier to do some fishing.  CyclopsJnr caught a very small sea trout (which we put back) and so he was delighted.

We got rained on walking back to the house, so had a game of Monopoly while we dried off.  CyclopsJnr then helped make Bacon and Leek Pasta for dinner, which we followed with toasted marshmallows.  He finished reading a graphic novel before bed, and moved on to a "Beastquest" book.

We could see water coming in through the back window, so that got added to the list of repairs.
