The Ripple Effect

There are three burns/streams that run across the golf course out into the sea.  We cross them on our walks along the beach.  In summer they can dry up altogether but not this year!  At the moment only one is flowing and this is a photo of it as it enters the North Sea.  

During the other seasons of the year all three stream outlets (to give them their official name) will be in flow. The speed and width of the outlets can vary greatly depending on how heavy the rain has been.  Wearing gore-tex/waterproof trainers ensures your feet stay dry.
