Repairing

Despite being stiff I started the day with another exercise class from YouTube, then had my Bircher muesli and was ready to go. Sorted P’s shopping and some emails and things, booked meals at a couple of places for later this week then did the ironing. Carried on with my self-reflections and explored some options of next steps.
Met up with GJ for a cup of tea, a shared fruit slice and a surprisingly jolly chat. Good to talk over various projects and compared some notes about them and retirement, then bought some strawberries to make jam for Mx, who apparently prefers that to raspberry. On the way out I passed this truck repainting the double yellow road markings. I’m always surprised by how elemental it is…all that fire and boiling tar-like paint seems strange to see on the side of a street!
Had a Teams call with another possible governor…interesting, then sorted out another Festival ticket change, made supper and chatted to A on her way home. It’s been grey most of the day but there was a bit of sun on my way back from buying the strawberries. Depressing it’s getting darker earlier though, and actually chilly in the evening.
