My Beautiful Boy

Yesterday we drove to Philly to meet our daughter-in-law and take the kids back to our house for a few days.  It was a lot of time in the car for them, but they were both so good.  They went to bed like champs and slept through the night....the 6 am wake-up was an adjustment for us. 

Today, we took them to the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum out near Dulles airport.  It was totally lost on our 14 month old granddaughter but she was happy in the stroller.  Our grandson at 3 1/2 is pictured here.  He enjoyed himself but the size of the planes made them hard for this little guy to appreciate.  He much prefers cars and can identify every car on the road. The best part for him was when we took him up into the tower that looks out over the airport and he could see the entire parking lot.  He immediately found our car.  His ability to concentrate and focus on details quite amazes me. 

He has reached the stage where he mugs for the camera whenever I try to get a shot.  I did manage to get this one of him and another in extra that I thought were particularly nice.
