Hemp Agrimony.
An hour on the plot this morning, cutting some of the leaves off the tomato plants, cut a bunch of anemones, picked a few more runner beans. Fed the runner & French beans, tomatoes, & courgettes. Labelled the plants Eve is collecting later.
Drive up to town for the paper, then down to CK to walk Indie. Half an hour gardening with Mum when I returned. Sweet, young, Blue tits visiting Mum's feeders which is keeping her entertained. The Greater Spotted woodpecker visiting my garden throughout the day..
Back to Chudleigh, coffee & wordsearch, before going back up the allotment to meet Eve. 12 Canna lilies, 3 apricot coloured leaf Heucheras, & 4 pots of Iris siberica.
Lunch
Made & baked 2 pastry cases for lemon meringue pies, then ironing, next use up the 3 very ripe bananas, making spiced banana bread, complete the pies, while starting the roast pork. Poached rhubarb for breakfast topping while the oven is on.
