To Bee, or Not

Lots of bees visiting the milkweed these days but still no golden digger wasps; their name does sound more ominous than they actually are. They’re just friendly pollinators that we typically see and welcome in July and August • With the threat of high winds this afternoon and evening, plus a possible isolated tornado (egad), I corralled our outdoor chairs and the plants we purchased this week to a somewhat safer area. Fingers crossed a tornado doesn’t form, which is not a normal occurrence here in the northeast • I’m off to make a vegan peach cobbler in a few minutes. We have a few fresh peaches and a treat sounds in order • Bee safe and sound, blipmates!
