Chateau de Puivert

Passing through the Ariege region we visted the chateau de Puivert. It is in a stunning part of France, with the Pyrenees in the background. Afterwards we had lunch by the lake in the village. Today's extra shows the chateau viewed from the lake. The second extra shows the approach once one has walked up the hill in the hot sunshine!
