Teacher only day today - reasonably productive which was good.

Rained all day - quite heavy at times. No doubt a few locals would have been getting worried again in the heavier moments given the flooding many had recently experienced.

Left work early to get a few jobs done - small jobs that seem to mount up over time. Collect item from jewellers that had been repaired. Tick. Get replacement bulb for van from auto specialists. Tick. Gget replacement ceramic end-bit for halogen light that's burnt out. On order. Come back later. Get replacment rubber seal for lens that's ripped. On order. Come back later. Arrive home to find kitchen ceiling has a leak.

Add that on to the list of things that need to be fixed. Two forwards - one backwards.
