Containers for Change

Today I took my bottle/cans to the recycling shed and I often wondered what happens to them once they are sorted into the different materials... Today I got to witness the next stage... It's all very noisy...
The forklift was picking up the cube things in the foreground on the image on the right hand side and tipping them into the big blue steel thing in the background... Because of how it's positioned it's not being filled evenly so the guy has to use a broom to push the cans about so it doesn't filled up in the one end and over flow... The man said that a truck comes in and takes it away to the next stage of recycling... It's all very interesting...
