Majestic Manchester

I am always amazed at how many massive trees there are in this part of Manchester. Also, how there is sunshine, at some stage, in every day I've ever been here, given its rainy reputation.

In extra, a close-up of Eden waving her leaf; look at those two teeth.

Gratefuls:
- our forebearers who had the vision to plant these trees for future generations to enjoy (are we doing as well as them??)
- Eden being a total delight today (and getting very grubby), even though it was a long day without Mummy or Daddy
- the friendliness and (incredible) multiculturalism of Manchester (so many take the time to smile at Eden and comment, and she totally engages with them all)
- coffee with Julia at The Giving Tree in an unexpected break, and being served by a lovely Brazilian lady
