Ravenous feeder

This Peacock butterfly spent some time this morning, and again this afternoon  feeding on the Dahlia flowers .It did not display any interest in other garden flowers which were in bloom. A mostly cloudy day with fleeting glimpses of sunshine and the occasional light shower.
