I had donkey duty today and I've never had a better greeting from my boys.  I was walking down to the stall and there was a huge chorus of iahen/ee-aw-en.  I've never seen them so happy.

Maybe they got the message that I had carrots AND apples.  Your dogs and cats might be happy when you open tins, but our donkeys get very pushy and impatient when you chop apples and carrots.  Especially Janosch - he likes his apples.

I have no idea what the 3 of them have been eating but I took 2 full  wheelbarrows of Donkey doo out of the stall and field.  That's about the same amount of <bad word>  that you hear from a politician in about 10 minutes.

Donkey poo has the advantage that it doesn't stink and you can wash it away.
