After failed attempts to safe the Sir John Stirling Maxwell School in Pollokshaws, some of the carved stonework is being salvaged hopefully to be used in any future buildings that will be proposed for the site.
Sad the whole building couldn't have been adapted for modern use. Seems it's more cost effective to demolish and build new. A lot of social history lost there. Happening too often.
