Farmers’ Market Breakfast

First course for about 150 people!  Our farmers’ market has resumed the pop-up breakfast series that was so popular before Covid. Guests are seated at communal tables in the market, and the five or six courses, prepared by a local chef, are served over a couple hours. Fantastic fresh food and interesting conversation. We sat across from a young man who makes miso and amazake, and is passionate about food, family, tradition and innovation. There were a couple of farmers on our left, a contractor to the right, and a woman who runs a used clothing store—which is to say, a variety of folks, united by a love of good food and a desire to support the market and the vendors.
