Memory Pathway

The “Millenium Tiles” are now being relaid…..each tile has some international or NZ history on it, and has now been renamed Te Ara Maumahara or the memory pathway. 
They had been lifted while the lakeside was upgraded, and the tiles have been upgraded too- they look great. It is very common to see people walking along the meandering path reading the tiles.

We had a lovely town walk, met up with friends for coffee and soon going out to friends place for dinner. The busy social life of a Wānaka Introvert!
