After putting this crane up, they took it down again almost straight away - there must have been a problem. This back blip was taken when they had taken the jib off. On the following day they had taken it all apart and it was on bits on the ground. A week or so later they put it back up again!

The sky was good on this day, and from this angle you can see the size of the whole they have already dug into the water table to park all the cars the Parisian owners will want to garage in their second homes. All these new flats are built on the flood zone, and wouldn't be allowed planning permission under current rules, but thankfully for them, the mayor found time to approve them just before the regulations were changed...!
