Surgery day today. After waiting ages when I arrived the actual procedure was over very quickly and before I knew it I was having a cup of tea in recovery.

The anaesthetic wore off quite quickly but thankfully they let me go home by myself so I didn’t have to wait for Matt to come and collect me.

Home to eat (I had to fast so was starving) and have a nap. Didn’t feel great in the evening but sort of what I expected so not too bad.
