Edinburgh's Battersea.

The familiar and iconic chimneys of the recently decommissioned Cockenzie Power Station emerge from the sea mist; but before too long they will disappear into the past, to be eventually replaced by a more modern and carbon-efficient gas turbine power generator.

Built near to the site of the famous Jacobite battle in 1745, construction was begun in 1959 and generated its last megawatt in March of this year after a productive 45 year-long lifetime.
