Outside, looking in..

Wet, white butterfly,
wishing to escape the rain,
clings to our glass door.

It's rained a lot this afternoon, we were very lucky not to get caught in it.  This butterfly did not have our luck, I hope they make it through the storm.
We had a quiet morning, I took Leo and Ben for a walk but Ben was a bit cross, wanting to hold the lead near the road and although he knows that is always a "no", he just couldn't help but ask and then started trying to pull Leo about.  I distracted him and we carried on without major incident but it's always tricky when he gets an idea in his head.  I made some salad and we had some bacon sandwiches, then it was time for a walk in the woods.  Leo went bananas!  He hasn't been to the woods since we got back from holiday and he was in and out of everything, bounding back, covered in his trade mark seeds!  He was really good with recall though, so it was a win.  Once we got home it started to rain so that was fortunate!  Not much more to say, it's a busy week ahead but Ben has some PA hours so that's a big help.  I'm intending to do some ironing tonight but I'm not sure if that will come to pass!
