Green

......... I think this is just the Common Green Shield Bug but it should be renamed the Green Poppy Shield Bug as it was very much enjoying this poppy seedhead - it stayed there all day going round and round the top. I assume it was sticking what looked like a proboscis into the seedhead, so I guess it was able to obtain something sustaining and enjoyable .......... isn’t it fascinating what you notice when you look really closely - if it hadn’t been for Blip I would probably have never even noticed it let alone investigated it further ....... every day’s a school day ;-)))
