Dancing Queen

Slow start. And an early finish for a delightfully welcome afternoon off. Meal in a local pub (with seemingly the last Timothy Taylor Landlord in the West - a fact vouched for by the fact that it had run out here too two nights later), then a bit of shopping fir me and CarbBoy - including signet ring shopping for him.

Then back to get ready for a trip out East to ABBA Voyage, booked to celebrate our host’s birthday tomorrow. Food in a very cool micro-brewery with Sri Lankan street food, then off to meet the workers at the main event. Such a cool venue and though I found the very dark start of the show a bit scary, the rest was fab. Seemed odd to be cheering technology but we all had a lot of fun.
