Final Resting Place …

… in the Solalex Valley for Elizabeth Senn, an old colleague who had returned to England to be with her family for her final years, leaving her beloved mountains. Today she « returned » with her family who came from so many different parts of Europe, and all spoke so lovingly of their Mum or Gran and their wonderful experiences with Elizabeth. Her ashes were spread in the same beautiful clearing as she spread Teddy’s, her husband’s. We were honoured to be included in this simple, moving, ceremony. She introduced me to so many of the mountains you see here on blip, she was a formidable hiker in her fifties when I was a young teacher.
