Time at the beach

We’re not great beach people, but we decided to make an exception today and took the ferry to Tavira Island. We’d been told before we came here that Tavira suffers from not having a beach nearby, but the ferry trip only takes fifteen minutes or so and is frequent and very cheap. We were certainly delighted that we made our way there today.

We finished the day beside the river again, but on the opposite side to yesterday. We stopped at a little place beside the old market, where the owner is quite a character and gave us some tips about places to go and things to do.
