Sports Day Part 1

Today was Finlay's sports day and he certainly did us proud. He came 2nd in the flat race, 3rd in the sack race and 1st in the race with his little sister. All this on top of being a great team player for his team games!

I was so glad to get the morning off to go watch him as he was so excited about it this year. I'm a firm believer that its the taking part that counts but I knew he'd been working really hard in gym at school because he wanted to win a race! Well he certainly made the time off worth while. I loved seeing the excitement in his eyes and in all the other children too.

It being a lovely day helped loads and it really was an enjoyable day for all involved!
