You might think we are in the desert with the sun, the sea and ruined war buildings but no,  this is the Moray coast in Scotland
The pillboxes were built to protect nearby RAF bases and the Americans and Canadians used this beach for D Day landing training exercises. The shifting sands have caused this one to topple over a bit causing its surprised expression!  Son R and I went inside to find a tricky geocache.
