The Clachan in Drymen

I spent all morning in Drymen: first at the health centre having blood and blood pressure taken, then having coffee in a new café on the main street - very nice! - then fitting in a walk up to the viewpoint where I bumped into old badminton friend, Alistair, for a good long chat before finally having lunch in The Clachan with pal Christina during her lunch hour from the library.

In the afternoon I had a long overdue haircut from Liz in Killearn and came back on the Stockiemuir road because the Strathblane road is closed at least until tomorrow due to an accident resulting in a man's death last night. His poor family!
