Summer fungi

Took Flo to Saltram again today and we walked down through the wood initially and she could be off the lead. As I walked along I noticed these fungi under a tall tree! Flo was fascinated that I was crouching down to take the shot but very soon lost interest and scampered off! The last part of the walk was back to the house along the meadow where last week there had been huge numbers of swallows darting around. Today there was no sign of them which I thought was quite odd but as we walked up to the car I noticed them flying and swooping over the cows grazing. So glad that they haven’t disappeared yet!

Extras: the pedigree herd of cows
The mish mash group of young steers, presumably being fattened for sale!
