Then in June 2015 some episodes of 'Outlander' series 2 were filmed here and it was subdued with a grey wash to fade more into the background.  That washed off or faded with time.

Now, it has been given a make-over with a fresh coat of cream paint.

I don't know for sure, but with two chimneys on such a small building and with only tiny windows, I suspect this was used to boil the crabs and lobsters caught by local fishermen in days gone by.
