Bed at the Window

This is the view from the hospital room I am sharing with a lady, who is much worse off than me (and very noisy). Blipped at sunrise about 5:30 A.M., when my surgeon came to check on me before the end of his (brutally long) shift.

I didn't get much sleep, but am feeling well enough to get up and fetch water from the nurses' station. Painkillers are a blessing.
