reflecting

A day of Ant and I reflecting and the children taking things at their own pace. The loss of her beloved Nanny started to feel real for Evie B and there were some very hard moments. Zeke really isn’t built to take life too seriously (much as he feels things deeply) so whenever tears came you’d hear his little voice say “emotional times, more emotional times”. I appreciated this aperol spritz, a little accent to the beauty of the scene. The splashes in the background are Miss Eve, flipping into the pool. If blip had a soundtrack, you’d also hear Isaac loudly protesting because he didn’t have an aperol spritz too.

Grateful for many, many lovely memories flooding back, space for the children to just be, Eve being gifted with words to describe how she feels - always so articulate.
