Luthier strikes again.

I was given a build your own electric guitar kit for my birthday a few weeks ago. I started building it today.
The wood was distinctly unfinished. It is basically soft wood carved out ready to use. Not ideal for a guitar I suspect. Many hours with 1,000 and 3,000 grit paper and 0000 grade wire wool. The fret board has been fettled. All the frets nice and flat and smooth. Fretboard treated with oil. Wood done with acrylic lacquer. Assembled, stringed and tuned. Now, to learn to play.

And maybe make one from scratch.
Or simply renovate old guitars.
