Ripe and ready

Out in the garden, I noticed that some of the plums were about to fall from the tree, so picked the most ripe fruit. 

They taste great, but they're not much bigger than large grapes. And some are so near the ground Stella was trying to pick them herself rather than scrounging for windfalls.
