getting the swan family to return. Neighbours are well equipped with seed which they drop in front of them. The corner is dangerous for them as motorists don’t really expect to find swans on the road being too keen to speed along.

The plumber arrived on time and worked until lunch time when he had a problem, the cast iron boiler proved too heavy to move, so tomorrow he brings in the heavy gang. Fortunately the water is back on (no heat).
