Nearly There

Tie dye t-shirts all ready and finally dry for the addition of feathers then the ‘birds ‘ will be ready for tomorrow’s performance which will round off summer school dance week.
Arrived at 8.30th left after 5.30pm and never stopped in between.
My crafts today included ten papier-mâché pith helmets and finishing off their rucksacks  ( cereal boxes) and binoculars (kitchen rolls) for the ‘explorers’
Than ten papier-mâché axes for the ‘lumberjacks’ .
Finally the feathers went on the t-shirts and the bird headdresses were finally completed.
All my old primary school teacher skills came out in force.
Groups carry out crafts to make the backdrop and props while one group is doing their dance routine with L.
The morning starts with a warm up for a whole group dance and the finale performance .
It’s non stop all day and not just for the children :-))
