Amazingly, a whole day without rain, so we had a good long walk to, and then through, Lyme Park. After lunch we went along the Macclesfield canal.
Main: The Cage. Built in the 1520s originally as an observation tower to check on the Park's deer, but then later later used to keep poachers before they were sent to Court to be tried.
Extra 1: Damselfly, but I'm not brave enough to hazard a guess as to the variety.
Extra 2: Dancing feathers.
Extra 3: Poor image quality of a kestrel, with claws at the ready.
