After the dance

Our photographic society had a fun summer photo walk around Canning Town and Trinity Buoy Wharf on Tuesday evening - so much to look at and photograph. I must have been feeling tired at the end.  As my colleagues headed for the bar in Hopewell Square, I stopped to take a photo of what I thought was an abstract sculpture. Now that I have googled it, I find that it is a newly installed sculpture of two very realistic ballet shoes. If I had taken a shot of the view behind me you would see the new English National Ballet Dance Centre. I must go back and have a proper look.
