The Artist's Eye

Quiet Spot

This reminds me of the paintings of Susan Bennerstrom, a wonderful painter from Bellingham.

Today was bridge. Where we played was unusual. First there was a mixup. Some of us thought Margot’s. Some thought Donna’s. But when we got there the house painters were there, so we moved to this house. It’s empty right now because it’s between tenants and Donna is fixing it up. It’s close to hers so it was easy to get there. Donna imported food and furniture and five of us met. We figured a way to all play. We did a rotation after each hand with a different one of us sitting out each time. It worked and we had a great time. Fun day.
