Butternut update

Well, Rich managed to keep them alive admirably! 

There are lots of flower buds but I'm starting to think we won't get enough summer for any fruit to develop. I didn't realise that there are male and female flowers either.  Male ones open up first and the female ones have mini butternuts at their base - I can't see any of those yet.
