A good day for butterflies

The weather was perfect for a few hours at lunchtime. I could smell the scent from the buddleia in the warm sunshine and so could the butterflies. We had visits from: Red Admiral, Peacock, Large White and this Small Tortoiseshell, not in any great numbers but I don’t think I have ever had so many different species of butterflies in my garden in any one day, wonderful!
