Warming up

I’ve had a bumpy, but invisible rash on the back of my neck for about a week, and it itches like mad.  Yesterday I had a lightbulb moment and looked up “hives”.  I then got JJ to check whether it turned white when pressed, and hey presto, a result.

This morning I nipped over to Boots for some anti-histamine tablets, took one and after a couple of hours it knocked me out and I had to go to bed to sleep it off.  Now I know I need some non-drowsy ones.

This red admiral butterfly was on the outside table first thing this morning, so I spent ages taking pictures of it from various angles.  I was hoping to have a sharp full frontal view, but that wasn’t to be.  It does look much better in large view.
