Kangaroo and Joey

There was a thick fog at dawn this morning out at the paddocks. After getting the horses in for breakfast I went for a wander with the camera to see what I could find. We have a lot of roos hanging around lately - the ones that don't end up as road kill - and they seem to like being near the horses. They are pretty shy of us, but are becoming accustomed to our comings and goings. I didn't realize this one had a joey in her pouch until I downloaded the photos to the computer.
